We are all pretty familiar with the age-old saying "you are what you eat" and it is very true. We are the product of everything that we consume and what we consume affects us- mind, body and spirit. We when take a moment to consider this we open ourselves shift our mindset. We to create space to change our perspective and relationship with food.
Everything that we consume is prana. Prana is the Sankrit word for breath or life force and prana is in everything. That means that all that we consume is prana- food, music, television, etc. Everything that we absorb (intentionally or otherwise) consists of energetic elements that affect our physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual body. Therefore, when we change our prana to change our life.
Our bodies are amazing creations- magical and intelligent. They work 24/7 to keep us alive and healthy through automated processes, most of which we are unaware of and cannot feel. Through and as a result of these processes our bodies communicate with us. We must simply learn to listen and honor this communication- our intuition. We often think of intuition on emotional and spiritual planes, but our intuition is also physical and biological. The communications from the body may manifest as cravings, aversions, thirst, the need for a nap, etc. When the communications go ignored, they may manifest as malaise and/or disease.
Be supported and guided into intuitive eating. Learn to consume prana that supports your constitution (specific composition of energetic elements). Correct malaise/disease, achieve your goals, and gain and maintain optimal expression.
